Warli Art is the art belonging to the Maharashtra, People of a particular caste who belonged to a caste named as Warli used to live in Maharashtra and used to practice this art that is why this art is named as Warli Art, The Adivasi people of that area used to practice this art on the walls of their home or for any other occasion such as marriages or any function. They used to use the geru which is red in colour, first they used to use geru on the surface of walls after that they used to make white colour using POP or rice and then they used to start the painting on the walls, The art they used to make were usually the pictures of the gods or birds. The shapes used to make the pillars were geometrical such as square circles triangles to look more attractive and charming. Nowadays this painting is used in most commercial purposes such as on cups, bags and on many other places but earlier the painting used to be painted only on walls and now it is also used to paint on canvas. As the modernisation age began they started adopting brushes instead of stick because in earlier times the stick was the only source to paint but now the brushes of different kinds are used. Some people in Maharashtra are still there who have adopted the traditional methods only. This art is India’s famous tribe as well as folk art. This art is also known as Adivasi art.

Warli Art is Indian Tribal Art (Adivasis Art). Warli painting is an “India Folk Art” Warli Art Fined in Maharashtra. This is basically “Wall Painting” Using by Basic Shapes (Square, Triangles, and Circles),
“Warli Painting Materials” Tribal use Earth Colors, Natural Colors chouk powder, chuna powder, Past of Rice Powder for White Color Geru Powder (Reddle, Ochre) For Red Color Background, and Natural Gum, Water, Cow Dung, Branches, Clay etc.“Tribal Art Tools” They use Basic Tools like Cotton, Bamboo Stick, Color Mixer Bowl etc,
“warli painting Techniques” Tribal prepare the wall with Water, Cow Dung, Branches, Clay Mixer etc. and Paint Wall with Geru powder (Red, Ochre). They use Bamboo sticks as Brushes, After that they Start to Create Composition on Wall and fill White Natural Color inside the Figures “Warli Painting Figures” Mostly in white Color,
